Kane is a teen-focused desk accessory line designed to keep beauty and personal items visible, accessible, and organized while still feeling expressive and display-worthy.

Project snapshot
Most existing desk organizers for teens fall into two extremes: decorative-but-impractical or functional-but-generic, leaving a gap for products that support real daily routines and still feel personal.

Overview
Most existing desk organizers for teens fall into two extremes: decorative-but-impractical or functional-but-generic, leaving a gap for products that support real daily routines and still feel personal.
Built a teen beauty persona and mapped routine pain points, then explored two collection directions before converging on Kane: a cohesive accessory system with portable pieces, quick-access storage, and a clear visual language aligned to the desk environment.
Outcomes
- Defined the Kane product line around five core pieces: headphone stand, hot tool mat, flower vase, brush cup, and selfie ring light.
- Translated concept direction into a unified design language tied to rounded forms, soft palettes, and display-first organization.
- Documented CMF specifications for each accessory to communicate manufacturable material and finish intent.
